TAKE A STOP-WATCH!!!!!  In case the scoreboard freezes up.

bullet

Bring a few blank score sheets. The score book is normally locked in the yellow container in the shed. Click here for a printable score sheet.

bullet

The surface is special coated so that INDOOR WHEELS are recommended.

bullet

The Ashburn Inline Facility is an OUTDOOR facility adjacent to the W&OD bicycle path and baseball fields.  A portable restroom is normally located in the parking lot near the baseball fields.  It is sometimes missing at the beginning of the season.  The concession stand restrooms at the far end of the parking lot are open for baseball.

bullet

There is NO running WATER or drinking fountain.  Take plenty of water, especially on hot days.

bullet

A McDonald's is located 1 mile from the facility, on Ashburn Farms Rd at Claiborne Pkwy.

bullet

A 6' chain link fence surrounds the playing surface.  42” high fiberglass boards line the playing surface.

bullet

There are two players benches and separate team penalty boxes.  The referee area is between the player’s benches.

bullet

Home bench is  to the west, furthest from the shed (on the side of the scoreboard that says “Home”)

HOUSE LEAGUE GAME PARTICULARS

bullet

Games are three 15 minute periods (goalies start at opposite end from own bench), RUNNING time.  Games are official if two full periods have been played.

bullet

5 minute sudden victory overtime is played to break ties, IF necessary, and the game will not run into the next time slot.
