December, 2001 - Starting with Spring 2002 we will be changing our format slightly. Each game will have two referees, we will play three 15 minute periods, and all levels of play will use a Z-ball.

November, 2001 - Thanks to all who graciously volunteered your time and energy for this past season. If you missed seeing the playoffs, you missed the best set of games in the history of the league. Every game except one, was decided by one goal! Thanks again, and I look forward to seeing you all in the spring. Rob

October, 2001 - The Ashburn Inferno Travel team won the Breakout Tournament in Washington D.C. this summer and now has the opportunity to play in the National tournament at San Diego's South Shores Park at Mission Bay on Jan. 18-20, 2002. To help cover some of the cost of this trip they are selling various items at the rink to raise money. *** Thanks to your support we raised over $750 to help with the trip!!! ***

September, 2001 - Clean up day with the help of Coaches and Parent volunteers. The Rink is now ready!

100 yards of mulch courtesy of the County Parks and Recreation to help with the mud problems.

Now there are plenty of places for those after game chalk talks and logs for the players to sit on.

The dasher boards get reinstalled and the goals receive a fresh coat of paint.

August, 2001 - Resurfacing of the rink is underway!

The asphalt goes down, say bye bye to the gaps under the dasher boards, and disappearing pucks!

The gray paint goes over the fresh asphalt.

With the painting of the lines resurfacing of the rink is complete, and look the creases are the proper size!

November. 2000 - The dasher boards have been installed. Many thanks to all the coaches and parents who volunteered their time to do the installation. A very special thanks to Chris Broadbent for coordinating the entire task and picking the coldest weekend of the winter to do the installation. :-)
